Maria Flemming, Owner
Owner/Director – Imprints Day School

Owner and Director of Imprints Day School, Maria Flemming received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (K-3) in 1992 from Fitchburg State College. Since graduation, she has worked in several child care facilities in all levels of care. Following work in the Peabody, MA Public School System and teaching in Lawrence, MA, Maria obtained her Director I and II qualifications and began training staff members in two large child care facilities in the Boston area.

Married since 1992, Maria has made it her priority to raise her family with the best that life has to offer. Maria and her husband finally decided to have children after eight years of marriage. They had their daughter Isabel in 2000 and son Max in 2003. She comes from a large family and holds traditional family values paramount. In addition to her kids, she has a loving Boxer dog named “Frisco”. She loves to spend quiet weekends with her family and enjoys the summer months at the beach and taking in movies with the kids.

In late 2005, Maria purchased Imprints Day School to finally develop the childcare center of her dreams. Maria set out to develop Imprints Day School as a sustainable business that would provide the best care possible. What Maria enjoys the most is continually looking for ways to ignite the spark of learning she knows is in every child provoking imaginative thinking and problem solving skills.

Melissa is family oriented. She married her husband in 2004 and had her sweet and energetic son in 2005. When Melissa has a chance she spends time with her family outdoors and playing matchbox cars with her son.
