Sibling Drop Off / Pick Up
Parents with more than one child enrolled at our center will be able to drop off the older
child first
at the main facility. A staff member will escort your child to
their classroom and you can continue to our infant facility. Pick up is the reverse process with infants being
picked up first and a phone call to the main facility for the older sibling.
School Closures/Delays
We do our best to open regardless of the weather conditions. If we close due to weather,
power outages greater than an hour or natural disasters beyond our control, payment will remain the same unless two or more days are canceled, then payment will be recalculated at a discounted rate. Please listen to the
local stations WMUR Channel 9 News for closure announcements or simply call the school for a recorded message
around 5:30 a.m. In the rare event that the center must close in the middle of the day, we will contact you at work.
Outdoor Activities
Our policy on outdoor activities is if the temperature is below 32ºF for toddlers and 25ºF for
any child group, we do not go outside. We do take into account the wind chill factor which is decided based on how the overall weather is acting. You Child should be equipped with labeled
hats, boots, gloves, snow pants and a heavy jacket every day until spring. The children love to play in the
snow so make sure you supply those items in order for them to have fun outside!
Center Holidays
Throughout the year, Imprints observes several National Holidays that our staff looks forward
to as a benefit of employment. This is the reason we don not offer tuition discounts for holiday days off.
Our center will be closed on the following holidays:
- New Years Day
- Civil Rights Day
- Memorial Day
- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
- Christmas Day
- Floating Holidays as they apply to the current year
We reserve the right to "float" a closure should an above listed
holidays fall on a weekend.
Illness Policy:
In conjunction with the sick policy in our parent handbook, we have an added procedure
concerning fevers:
The state mandates that if a child has a temperature of 101 F or higher they must
be sent home.
We will give a warning call if a child's temperature reaches 100 F. The purpose of this call is
to let the parents know the child is running a slight fever and we will monitor it.
Medication Policy:
We can dispense prescription medication to your child as ordered by a physician. You will need
to fill out a medication form to authorize us to dispense the medication. We cannot dispense
any medications without this signed form. All medication needs to have your child's name and
dosage amount on the medication.
We are able to give Tylenol to children who have recently had immunizations, have a temperature
of 101 F and are going home or under a doctor's orders. We are not permitted to administer
Tylenol as a precaution for a child who may just be uncomfortable for an unknown reason. We
have been advised by doctors that this may mask more serious problems and harm the child more
then help them.
In case of teething, we may administer Orajel or similar teething medication with a written
doctor's note.
Medication may not be dispensed in bottles or food. All medication must be dispensed orally.
